Role Summary

The Inspection Coordinator will host inspections for COIL EV Charger installations. As an integral member of the COIL team, the Inspection Coordinator keeps jobs moving efficiently towards permission to operate. The Inspection Coordinator will be responsible for meeting with the inspector and ensuring a passing inspection.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the job site for inspection including but not limited to; opening electrical equipment.

  • Answer any questions the inspector may have regarding the EV Installation

  • Communicate all relevant information concerning corrections and next steps to the Permit Coordinator.

  • Update the company job management system with relevant notes, necessary documentation, and photos from the inspection.

What you need for this position:

  • 1-2 years relative work experience in general construction

  • Basic electrical experience

  • Comfortable handling and opening electrical panels

  • Able to grasp technical concepts and communicate them in an effective manner

  • Able to organize time and tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Punctual with appointments and deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

  • Excellent customer service skills required

  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements

  • Must have a valid state driver’s license and a car required
