Role Summary
The Regional Project Manager position is responsible for architecting and managing the entire lifecycle of new energy electrical projects, specifically EV installations for commercial, multi-family, and residential. When applicable, you’ll attend site visits with key stakeholders including customers, sales executives, lead electricians, and local representatives and ensure the procurement of materials by the electricians, and support the overall program. You should be comfortable being the go-to person and help resolve any issues or problem areas with the project. You’ll ensure everyone on the project team is clear on all aspects of their
responsibilities. You will be responsible for crew assignments, scheduling, and overall team performance. You will also track project activities and manage project documentation including change orders, submittals, tracking logs, job cost allocations, and related project documents.

 

While no two days will end up looking the same, generally speaking, you’ll be responsible for the following things:

  • Set up projects and determine crews and their responsibilities

  • Architect how the projects are set up on-site and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Work with internal and external engineering to ensure the design of the project

  • Pull local permits as needed

  • Interface directly with the customer and identify customer needs

  • Schedule kick-off meetings with customers and other stakeholders

  • Work with the Field Lead Electricians on managing materials

  • Responsible for project design implementation

  • Provide necessary information to order plan sets for projects and submit to permitting

  • Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables

  • Planning and implementation of projects and crews

  • Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables

  • Analyzing data as required

  • Track and manage materials & inventory such as EV chargers, transformers, etc. for projects

  • Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices, and drawing estimates

  • Tracking and reporting project progress and reporting to executive management

  • Cost allocation of jobs

  • Developing and upholding processes and procedures

  • Willingness to travel as needed

  • Covers all new regions as needed

What You Need for this Position

  • Customer communication skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in project or administrative management

  • Proficiency in management software

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent multi-tasking skills

  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Driver's license and good driving record
