Role Summary:

COIL is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join the residential sales team. The residential sales team reaches out to customers looking for an installer for their EV charger. Education is a primary focus as we take a consultative sales approach. The ideal candidate is interested in building technical expertise in the electrical, energy, and EV sphere. You’re a great communicator and educator and can get your point across in a clear and concise manner. You can effectively work independently. The role will report to the Residential Sales Manager.

What You'll Do: 

  • Follow-up on inbound leads, educate potential customers, and close residential deals

  • Understand customer needs and offer solutions by taking a consultative approach

  • Maintain accurate activity and lead information in internal systems

  • Assist with revenue forecasting and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets

 

What We're Looking For: 

  • 1+ years of sales, outreach, education, or customer service experience

  • Demonstrated interest in EVs / renewable energy / sustainability

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the details of multiple product lines. Able to confidently and courteously convey the product benefits to potential customers through an easy-to-grasp approach.
